MORE CLAY, LESS SAND

As a songwriter, mostly satisfied in life and increasingly becoming more content with the way things are; I find it more difficult to cerabrate feelings and emotions for songs. Usually inspiration flourished out of longing, regret, or some other inner personal desire, but as I've grown I have distanced myself from "could bees and should have beens".

For new material; I have been focusing on topics such as things that affect me deeply like fear of death/dying, or my experiences with mental illness. I am also tackling things I am passionate about like human rights and the human experience. There are other topics, for now I digress.

I have always thought music is something that can make a powerful difference and accompany the molding of the world we live in. Ultimately, if my music can be a tiny fraction of that difference, then I have done something worth leaving behind, long past myself.
